Work commences at Moe to dismantle K154 and prepare it for relocation to the Newport Railway Workshops.

Throughout the year, the Locomotive Restoration Group negotiates a lease with VicTrack for the Traralgon Locomotive Depot.
2017 - 2021
Various components for the N Class Project are moved from Newport Workshops to Traralgon Locomotive Depot, while volunteers begin restoring and fitting out the depot with machinery to build N441.
28th January 2023
N441 Frames are transported from Newport Workshops for completion at Traralgon Locomotive Depot
